Overview
To perform moderately aircraft engine maintenance and repairs in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable technical orders, standards, and regulations.
Perform O, I and D Level when its applicable.
1. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
2. Inspect, maintain, and repair jet engines and small gas turbine engines following blueprints, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documents, using hand tools.
3. Calibrate installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications.
4. Perform scheduled service and maintenance tasks to aircraft engine components and advise on problems with maintaining, servicing, and inspecting of items.
5. Perform tasks with technician teams in conducting functional tests of repaired components and systems according to standards and procedures.
6. Remove, install, inspect, repair and modify engines and engine modules and components.
7. Annotate maintenance forms, aircraft records, automated maintenance data systems, and historical reports as required to ensure complete documentation.
8. Report findings and issues to supervisor and proceed with the adopted solution and ensure proper implementation in performing tasks.
9. Disassemble and assemble engines adhering to prescribed procedures and prepares engines for installation, storage, or transportation
10. Use and dispose of hazardous waste and materials following safety standards and procedures.
11. Perform basic launch and recovery to engine and engine components to ensure they are working appropriately.
12. Maintain logs of airplane launches, recoveries, and engines maintenance to spurt future operations with a reliable database.
13. Repair and maintain engines and engines components for issues encountered during typical recovery missions.
14. Identify maintenance and troubleshooting requirements for engines and components during aircraft recovery.
15. Provide on-the-job training and coaching to technicians on basic tasks and procedures to support their development.
16. Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
17. Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
18. Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
