Overview
An IVHMMS technician is qualified to perform the collection, analysis, documentation, and dissemination of all IVHMMS data on the assigned aircraft. This will include performing operation of IVHMMS ground station and associated software. Assist with the operation, troubleshooting, repair, adjustment, maintenance, testing, inspection, and modification to maintain all of the components and computer hardware assigned to the IVHMMS section.
At times, it will be necessary to interface with tech reps, OEM analysts and engineering staff in order to bring an open issue to closure.
Also will be responsible for:
1.Responsible for the download collection, and transfer of IVHMMS data at intervals specified by the aircraft OEM procedures.
2. Review of IVHMMS data must be performed at each download. At a minimum the individual performing the review will check for exceedance and alert parameters.
3. When required perform an in-depth analysis of IVHMMS data to include additional Conditional Indicators and expanded trend timeframe review, as well as wider fleet type comparison.
4. Assess, assign, track, record and communicate all items that require close monitoring. At times, it will be necessary to interface with tech reps, OEM analysts and engineering staff in order to bring an open issue to closure.
5. Responsible for initiating maintenance action on the aircraft in relation to indications originating from the analyzed IVHMMS data.
6. Responsible for monitoring and tuning Rotor Track and Balance in accordance with OEM limits. Identify differences within a specific airframe that may indicate a potential defect.
7. Operate and maintain equipment and special tooling associated with the related IVHMMS and GSS Software.
8. Effectively communicate with the customer regarding maintenance and flight operations as required to provide effective and expedient solutions in returning aircraft to service.
9. Assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting, utilizing real time and historical data gathered by the IVHMMS.
10. Maintain an ongoing professional working relationship with all related departments and supervisors.
11. May be asked to perform power on operations of IVHMMS to facilitate completion of maintenance activities such as MOC.
12. Ensures daily operations activities are executed in accordance with UAE security regulatory, statutory, and policy directives.
13. Assist in the preparation of documentation used for classroom instruction, practical demonstrations and to train maintenance personnel.
14. Work with SAE and Logistics to categorize components of the IVHMMS system that are of a high failure rate.
15. Demonstrate a willingness to adapt to using and maintaining IVHMMS on other aircraft platforms.
16. Perform necessary technical office administration as required but not limited to publication revisions, incident reporting and related corrective actions.
