Aircraft Technician III

Overview
Responsible for required to inspect, maintain and repair the aircraft. Primary duties are phase inspections. Performs crew chief duties and all aspects of both phase and flight line Airframe and Powerplant General Maintenance.

1. Service aircraft and perform all aspects of ground handling, aircraft configuration and
maintaining support equipment and special tools.
2. Perform on and off equipment inspections, scheduled and unscheduled
maintenance.
3. Conducts effective OJT to qualify a cadre of assigned RAFO maintenance personnel
to assume responsibility for the maintenance organization as directed by RAFO
Headquarters.
4. Perform in the capacity of instructor, OJT trainer, Quality Assurance, phase dock
chief and shop chief.
5. Work closely with RAFO Trade Manager, supporting all required scheduled and
unscheduled maintenance working both Phase and Flight line maintenance tasks.
6. Oversee and accept the work performed by RAFO Engineering.
7. Debrief Aircrews Perform Launch and Recovery and EOR.
8. Supervising functions such as performing or supervising functions involving
installation, repair, testing, or modification of aircraft.

 EXPERIENCE


  Minimum of 6-8 years experience in Phase Inspections area at an Airbase.

  Knowledge of aircraft launching and recovering processes

  Knowledge of basic maintenance processes and procedures

  Understanding of jet engine structure, components and functions
