The Onboarding Officer facilitates all the activities that enable a candidate from offer acceptance stage to joining the organization. The pupose of this position is to ensure warm, smooth onboarding process and to improve onboarding experience.
Also will be responsible for:
1. Be the primary point of contact for all the new hires from the moment of offer acceptance through to completion of joining formalities and Induction.
2. Working with the HR Operations team to coordinate a smooth joining process for both local and overseas hires. This will include overseeing visa processing, relocations, benefits activation, schooling, accommodation, medical cover etc - keeping the new joiners well-informed of process and timelines at each stage of the process.
3. Ensure our new joiners are welcomed to the business and receive their onboarding kits, office tour, IT equipment, systems access and appropriate induction.
4. Ensure required documentation is received and reflected in the appropriate system/ files.
5. Coordinate with department Head, HR Business Partner, IT Department for necessary IT set up and technical assistance to set up hardware and software.
6. Establish a sense of belongingness and commitment for the new employee and create an Engaging Environment and connect new joiners to colleagues.
7. Strive for the best - seek out opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies and find ways to continuously improve the people experience.
8. Conduct new Employee survey after completion of Probation Period to understand the feedback and implement corrective action if required.

• Diploma or higher diploma in a relevant discipline, preferably in HR or business management or equivalent experience.
