To perform the maintenance of full flight simulators, flight training devices, cockpit procedure trainers and associated support devices in order to simulate those requirements that may arise during maintenance of the assigned aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
2. Provide technical support to all flight simulators in order to ensure they are operational and are continuously working in an efficient manner.
3. Perform all maintenance actions including troubleshooting for the assigned aircraft and maintenance simulators by diagnosing and correcting complex problems on the simulators.
4. Perform timely pre-flight, corrective and preventive maintenance, calibration, testing and inspections on the flight simulator training devices in accordance with applicable technical manuals, procedures, quality and reliability standards.
5. Assist in the development and enhancement of trainers and systems, system evaluation, testing and programming of software as necessary to maintain equipment operations certification for simulator operation and related training equipment.
6. Monitor equipment performance and interface with AMMROC’s customers (i.e. pilots) and instructors to provide courteous service and support and obtain feedback regarding equipment performance with the objective of improving the operation, early detection of malfunctions and reliability.
7. Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
8. Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
9. Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Qualification
Minimum Qualification:
• Technical avionics, electrical, IT diploma or skill level 5 certified avionics technician.
Experience
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience of flight simulator maintenance experience.
• Technical skills and background to operate, maintain and diagnose complex simulator problems.
• Understanding of electronics and hydraulic systems associated with the training system.
