The primary function of a Quality Assurance Safety and Standardization is to ensure that an organization adheres to established quality and safety standards while continuously improving processes to enhance product quality and workplace safety. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance and safety protocols, conducting audits, and fostering a culture of compliance and excellence throughout the organization.
Will also be responsible for:
1. Develop and implement quality assurance and safety standards aligned with aviation and maintenance regulations.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate standards into operational processes.
3. Ensure that all standards are up-to-date and reflect current best practices.
4. Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality and safety standards.
5. Analyze audit findings and develop action plans for corrective measures.
6. Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and improvements.
7. Design and deliver training programs on quality assurance and safety practices for employees.
8. Create training materials and resources to enhance understanding of standards.
9. Foster a culture of safety and quality awareness within the organization.
10. Identify potential safety hazards and quality risks through assessments and evaluations.
11. Develop risk management strategies to mitigate identified risks.
12. Implement emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
13. Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality assurance activities, audits, and safety inspections.
14. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards.
15. Prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory bodies regarding quality and safety performance.
16. Analyze quality and safety data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
17. Prepare and present reports summarizing findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
18. Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making processes.
19. Collaborate with various departments to promote a unified approach to quality and safety.
20. Communicate effectively with all levels of staff regarding quality assurance and safety initiatives.
21. Liaise with external regulatory agencies and industry organizations to stay informed of changes in standards.
22. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and safety performance.
23. Encourage employee participation in quality and safety programs and initiatives.
24. Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to drive best practices.
25. Create detailed SOPs that outline the steps required to perform tasks consistently and effectively.

Qualification
Bachelor's Degree: A degree in a relevant field such as Quality Assurance, Industrial Engineering, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related discipline is typically required.
Master's Degree: An advanced degree can be beneficial and may be preferred for higher-level positions.
Certified Quality Auditor (CQA): Offered by the American Society for Quality (ASQ), this certification demonstrates expertise in quality auditing.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP): This certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) indicates proficiency in safety management.
ISO Certifications: Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety) is advantageous.
Lean Six Sigma Certification: Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement can be beneficial.
Experience
5-8 years of experience in quality assurance, safety management, or a related field is required. Experience in a specific industry (aerospace, aviation maintenance ) are preferred.
