The Part 66 Training and Certification Administrative Specialist is responsible for overseeing the administrative aspects of aviation training and certification programs in compliance with Part 66 regulations. This role ensures the efficient coordination, documentation, and management of training activities and certification processes, supporting the development of licensed aviation maintenance personnel. The specialist serves as the liaison between training teams, regulatory bodies, and trainees, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with all regulatory and organizational requirements.
Also will be responsible for:
Training Administration:
• Coordinate and schedule Part 66 training programs, examinations, and assessments in collaboration with training managers and instructors.
• Maintain an up-to-date training calendar and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of training materials, syllabi, and course documentation.
Certification Management:
• Oversee the application, tracking, and issuance of certifications for Part 66 licensed personnel.
• Ensure all training records, exam results, and certification documentation are accurately recorded and stored.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure timely submission of required documents and compliance with Part 66 regulations.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
• Monitor and audit training processes to ensure compliance with Part 66 standards and organizational policies.
• Identify gaps in compliance and recommend corrective actions.
• Support the preparation for regulatory audits and inspections related to training and certification.
Data Management and Reporting:
• Maintain a comprehensive database of trainee records, including progress, certifications, and licenses.
• Generate reports on training completion, certification status, and compliance metrics for management review.
Stakeholder Coordination:
• Serve as the point of contact for trainees, instructors, and regulatory authorities regarding Part 66 training and certification matters.
• Provide guidance to trainees on certification requirements and processes.
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to align training initiatives with organizational goals.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Timeliness and accuracy of training schedules and documentation.
• Compliance rate with EASA Part 66 requirements.
• Stakeholder satisfaction with communication and support.
• Successful completion of regulatory audits with no major findings.

Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in aviation, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience in aviation training administration, regulatory compliance, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with Part 66 regulations and aviation maintenance certification requirements.
• 5 years’ experience in an aviation administration environment.
Experience

• Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in an aviation maintenance or training organization
• Knowledge of aviation industry software (e.g., training management systems).
• Familiarity with other regulatory frameworks (e.g., Part 145, Part 147).
