To perform aircraft avionics maintenance and repair tasks under close supervision as instructed in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
Perform O, I and D Level when its applicable.
Will also be responsible to:
1. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
2. Perform routine tasks related to inspection, troubleshooting, servicing and maintaining less complex avionics aircraft systems, components and related equipment.
3. Assemble and disassemble parts prior to and post maintenance according to the standard procedures and report any malfunction to supervisor.
4. Adjust frequencies of radio sets by signaling ground station and turning setscrews.
5. Assist in checking components for clearances, tolerances, proper installation, and operation.
6. Perform tasks related maintaining basic launch and recovery equipment to ensure they are working appropriately.
7. Perform tasks related to installing and maintaining visual landing aids as instructed and according to adopted procedures.
8. Assist in maintaining logs of airplane launches, recoveries, and equipment maintenance.
9. Perform tasks related to identifying maintenance and troubleshooting requirements for avionics parts and equipment during aircraft recovery.
10. Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
11. Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
12. Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Qualification
- Bachelor, Higher Diploma or diploma or skill level 5 certified in respective trade.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience within maintenance operations area at an Airbase.
- Knowledge of aircraft launching and recovering processes
- Knowledge of basic maintenance processes and procedures
- Understanding of aircraft structure, components, trublleshooting, wiring system and functions..etc.
