The Airframe Engineer provides technical engineering support related to aircraft structures and airframe systems to ensure continued airworthiness and safe aircraft operations. The role supports monitoring of aircraft structural health, assessment of service documentation including Airworthiness Directives (AD), Service Bulletins (SB), and Vendor Service Bulletins (VSB), and evaluation of aircraft defects and maintenance findings.
Working within a Part-M / CAMO environment, the Airframe Engineer supports troubleshooting activities, aircraft defect monitoring, maintenance program implementation, and engineering analysis of structural issues. The role also provides engineering support during Aircraft on Ground (AOG/EOG) situations, supports obsolescence management, and coordinates with OEMs and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintenance standards.
1. Provide engineering support related to aircraft airframe structures and systems, including fuselage, wings, empennage, flight control surfaces, and structural components.
2. Monitor aircraft structural health and evaluate inspection findings, damage reports, and defect trends to ensure continued airworthiness.
3. Assess and review Airworthiness Directives (AD), Service Bulletins (SB), Vendor Service Bulletins (VSB), and other technical publications to determine applicability and compliance requirements.
4. Support aircraft maintenance activities by providing engineering troubleshooting and technical guidance to maintenance teams during line and base maintenance operations.
5. Evaluate aircraft structural defects and provide engineering recommendations in accordance with approved maintenance data and OEM documentation.
6. Prepare engineering documentation including engineering orders, repair schemes, evaluation reports, and technical instructions as required.
7. Support monitoring and management of aircraft defects, deferred items, and structural discrepancies in coordination with maintenance control and engineering teams.
8. Provide engineering support during Aircraft on Ground (AOG/EOG) situations, assisting in technical resolution and aircraft recovery to minimize operational impact.
9. Support engineering analysis related to aircraft maintenance programs and structural inspection requirements.
10. Coordinate with OEMs, engineering service providers, and internal stakeholders to obtain technical approvals, repair schemes, and engineering support when required.
11. Monitor and support obsolescence management activities related to airframe components and structural systems.
12. Assist in technical investigations related to structural defects, reliability issues, or operational events affecting aircraft structures.
13. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to engineering processes, reliability monitoring, and maintenance practices.
14. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, company procedures, and safety management system (SMS) standards.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager or senior management in support of departmental objectives.

Qualification
Minimum Qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent engineering discipline.
• Aircraft structural engineering or airworthiness-related training.
• Aircraft type training or familiarity with large commercial or military aircraft platforms.
• Additional technical certifications related to aircraft maintenance, engineering, or reliability are considered an advantage.
• English language proficiency required.
• Arabic language is considered an advantage.
Experience
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in aircraft engineering, CAMO, or technical services environment within the aviation industry.
• Experience working within Part-M / airworthiness management environments.
• Experience in evaluating and implementing Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), Vendor Service Bulletins (VSBs), and service documentation.
• Experience in aircraft structural defect assessment, damage evaluation, and repair coordination.
• Experience supporting maintenance teams with engineering troubleshooting and technical guidance.
• Experience supporting AOG/EOG situations and operational engineering support is highly desirable.
• Experience working with aircraft maintenance planning systems, engineering documentation systems, or ERP/MRO software is preferred.
