AI Project Manager is responsible to plan, lead, and deliver Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning projects from initiation to production. The role bridges business, technical, and data teams to ensure AI initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives and governance standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI and data projects (ML, NLP, Computer Vision, Predictive Analytics).
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including data scientists, ML engineers, software developers, and architects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
• Ensure AI solutions meet quality, performance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Establish and track KPIs, milestones, and success metrics for AI initiatives.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Oversee vendor and third-party AI solution delivery when applicable.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and knowledge transfer.
• Support AI governance, ethical AI practices, and data privacy requirements.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
• Fluent written and spoken English
• A functional knowledge of Arabic (preferred)

• Knowledge of AI governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.

Qualification
Minimum Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong understanding of AI, Machine Learning, and data-driven projects.
• Proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Familiarity with AI development lifecycles and MLOps concepts.
• Experience using project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps).
• Strong risk management and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Experience
EXPERIENCE
• 6–10 years of experience in IT or technology project management.
• 3+ years of experience managing AI, ML, or data analytics projects.
• Proven track record delivering AI projects from concept to production.
• Experience managing cross-functional technical teams.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI solutions.
• Experience in enterprise, government, aviation, defense, or regulated environments is preferred.
• Vendor and contract management experience is an advantage
